Personal transformation

Wilderness Time

Friends
This is wild country
Wilderness
Unexplored
Here be dragons
Here be gold
Here is darkness
Heavy with dread
Here is the light
That can blind

And like the heroes
Of old
If you have the courage to travel the wilderness
Meet your dragons
Own and honour them
The gold
which is your soul
Will be yours
And the light
Which is your light
Will illuminate your path
And the dark
Which is your dark
Will become a quiet place
Where you can
Rest and grow
And there will be no more
Country
That cannot be explored

This says it all

The reason we have shed buckets of blood sweat and tears
Birthing a new Baby Dragon of peace

And not another story of the glory of war and inevitability of conflict ….

Yes, it was (and is) to establish world peace through a mythology which unites us.
Which affirms us as a global community with international connection

Yes, it was (and is) for our beautiful land of Wales…the land of the Dragon… to have rebirth and renewal in its new born Baby Dragon and full recovery from past occupations and invasions

Yes it was for our community ..a brave and valiant attempt to bring together a small and beautiful town in celebration and creativity…..(We had no knowing of the power of town politics we would have to survive and grow through by daring to be so democratic!)

But real change comes when we are brave enough to change internally…personal transformation as described in the above piece …where the dragon and the land and the dark are not to be demonized, conquered, overcome, speared nor shot….

Where our own fears and hatreds are not to be projected out onto another race, colour, and thus justify mass murder of them as a dragon to be slayed.

Where land and nature are not to be controlled and owned and fought over

So this page is dedicated to your writings of how you honour and own and thus integrate your dragon…Enjoy…..send in your inner dragon poems, stories and inspirations.

May your dragon give you much power and wildness and creative fire. We look forward to reding them
